Hello Friends I want to thank you all for purchasing my CDs from CD Baby and http://www.johnsheehan.net/CDs.html in the past and hope you are enjoying sharing the music with friends and family! If you are interested you can purchase the Sheet Music, using Pay Pal,to many of my songs and compositions at: http://www.johnsheehan.net/SheetMusic.html Of course if the sheet music you're interested in is not available, I can get it done for you and would be happy to. Let me know what songs and arrangements you want to obtain even if it's someone else's music. I'd be happy to provide a working guitar arrangement for you. December starts with five gigs in three days and it's best for me to be busy as it gets me out of the house and into other worlds besides my basement with students, solo walks in the woods and fishing. No complaints with those activities though! Also ,whoever hung my business cards in Curves Fitness Center of all places, thanks, as I got a call to play a private party in Erskine Lakes for Jim and Sharon Piata and friends. Wishing you all a very happy Holiday season ! Stay away from Walmart! Sunday 7th Warwick Valley Winery 2-5 http://www.wvwinery.com/events_01.php LATER THAT NIGHT: Sunday December 7 7:00 pm Adrian Legg, John Sheehan Impossible to categorize as a player, Adrian Legg incorporates virtually every genre on his guitar in a virtuosic instrumental style with effects. He brought electric approaches to acoustic playing, creating a modern cross-over amalgamation in the tradition of eclectic folk playing that goes back to the 1960s." - Guitar by Richard Chapman, 2000 "There are guitarists, there are axe-wielding maniacs, and then there are wizards. Adrian Legg is one of the wizards. He has enough technique to do just about anything he wants, but also the sensitivity to honor the contours of a melody." - Philadelphia Enquirer, Aug. 5, 2000 Voted "Guitarist of the Decade" by Guitarist magazine. Guitar Player's Reader's Poll Winner for Best Acoustic Finger style Guitarist for 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996 Opening the show: John Sheehan is a multi styled Composer/Finger Style Guitarist/Singer/Songwriter from Ringwood, NJ. . He is a steadfast proponent of the solo finger style guitar performance, whether it be a Festival performance, small stage, a house concert, party, Restaurant or bar. Three of John's compositions have been used as backdrops for videos: "Old Mill Rag", a TV/Cinema ad for "Sky Digital in the UK, "Buggy Ride", in a short film on safety called "The Eddie Adams Tragedy", released by the Weyerhauser Corporation and Rocket- Pictures of Seattle Washington and "Cliffs of Moher" for a promotional film for the Emily Williston Memorial Library of Easthampton, Massachusetts.
